How to Play Goalpost
Basic Rules
- Players must predict if the score card in the middle will fall between the two post cards.
- Players can either bet and take their chance or skip their turn.
- The score cards are ranked: A (1) - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10 - J - Q - K (13)
- To score, the card must be strictly between the posts, not equal to either post.
Winning and Losing
- If a player wins (card is between posts), they win double their bet.
- If a player loses (card is not between posts), their bet stays in the pot.
Gameplay Example
In this example, the left post is 3, and the right post is 10. Any card between 4 and 9 would be a winning bet.
Advanced Strategies

- Pay attention to the cards that have been played to estimate probabilities.
